Perhaps doing laundry mid-week is a bad idea, as I wait for the already-late attendant to arrive for work.
Last night I skipped German class and went straight home instead. At home I did a workout on my trainer, made a second attempt at a biscuit burger, and then failed to do a lot of the other things that needed to happen. Oh well.
A very long day and night awaits me, hopefully starting soon if the attendant ever arrives.
I’m in!
A follow up from yesterday: This morning the gas stations at Moreland/I-20 were selling their gas for about $2.40/gallon, so yeah, Kroger is a rip-off.
….farther down Moreland (South toward I-285), and Jonesboro Road, etc. I routinely see gas for “$2.19”-ish.

Today on Twitter I learned the German word for birth control pill is “antibabypille”.
I now feel somehow that Goethe has not educated me properly…
You miss a day of German class, you miss a lot! 😉
Indeed! 😂
The German word for bagpipe is “doodlesack”. Appropriate.
The more I read here, the more I appreciate the German language. 🙂
Next week I will be making another long trip to Florida.
I tried three times to schedule service for the M6 with Jim Ellis in Chamblee, all three times I got voicemail. The first two times I left a message requesting them to contact me and they have not, the third time they lost my business. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸
That is amazing to me that a business can’t even return voicemail. Wonder if you can find the email address to an executive to let them know why they lost your business.
I have been getting my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube almost across the street from them. It seems to be a good use of time before going farther up north for the Games meetings. My regular mechanic in Newnan has always done well by me, but I figure anyone can change oil.
Gas at both QT stations I passed was 2.19.
Already back from the dermatologist where my stitches were removed in under a minute. All looks good.
Debbie is just leaving for Florida with her hunt buddies to go ride and party. Meanwhile, I’ll just stay here and enjoy the beautiful weather. Wait…

Survived the evening with Hoosier & Mullet, Party Hats & Nabob, Cheese Spread & Randy. Plenty of drinking, plenty of crazy conversation, good times were had by all.
Not too hungover……
