Given that I hope they will be my meal ticket for awhile, I try not to be too critical of Apple, but I think that they have screwed up big time with iOS 13. For the first time I find myself constantly frustrated with their networking, having to resort to nonsensical tricks like killing/restarting apps to get downloads to complete. Of course it could be AT&T’s shitty service too…
Fair hash last night. No surprise, my ankle still hurts. Both Bonnie and I were intrigued to be hashing near West Lake MARTA to see where one would end a Monday night. Alas, the trail was A-to-A, and you had to drive to a restaurant for dinner. Knowing nothing about the restaurant chosen, nor how far behind we were, I pulled the plug and ate dinner at Manny’s near Cabbagetown instead.
The Jets suck.
Tuesday Take of the Tape: 212.6 pounds (-0.6 from last week’s weigh-in); I’ll take it.
If I am back in my own bed and don’t have to go to work today, it must be Tuesday and the Highland games are over.
It was an amazing week of busting your butt hard work but always fun. Saturday’s monsoon was the first time in 47 years. Considering the deluge, The crowd was pretty good. Sunday was an amazing crowd but I don’t think it was sufficient to make up for Saturday’s washout. We manage to get it all back in the box by about 4 o’clock yesterday. A wee dram to celebrate and I drove home.
Will be glad to get back in the office tomorrow for more rest.

Steve, I thought about you this weekend. I still hope to make it out to the games someday!
Sunday was certainly a good day to come out. It’s been so dry, there was only mud in a few places. We lost one of our tents when the idiot added his own rain fly the didn’t drain. The tent finally couldn’t hold the weight and collapsed. Perfectly bent 1″ conduit- previously straight.
a friend said she was going to the Games Saturday for the Scottish weather, but Allan slept until about 1pm, and that was way too late to head out there. Plus, it was Sal’s birthday, so we spent the day getting her drunk.
*Fist bump* Paulie. I weigh the same as yesterday, which I’ll take as well.
I trust you’re talking about your home internet connection. If you don’t have fiber optic with AT&T then you’re on a massively overloaded system. I’ve confirmed this with my own personal experience before/after fiber, but also a AT&T technician confirm it as well.
Yeah, at my house. Think I will investigate fiber soon.
