Frustrated by traffic I interrupted Bonnie’s productivity by stopping at her house, and she kindly provided me with a dinner of delicious Indian food and watched “The Great British Bake Off / Baking Showâ€.
Ankle update: It still hurts and has black and blue parts, I doubt I will be running any time in the very near future.
Chest update: Pretty much the same, need to thoroughly read my paperwork today and start considering some lifestyle changes.
Arm update: What? Yeah, I may have gotten an unwanted tattoo in the form of two bruises on my forearm where the IV needles were inserted. Either that, or I am just a very slow healer.
House update: Ha! Actually I am hoping to resume clean out work this month. I must start whittling down what I own.
Did the doctor prescribe anything? While I try not to inflict bruises on myself, I figure the next ones I get will be doozies because of the blood thinners I’m now on. And if I get a scratch, I bleed pretty freely…
A long Games meeting. I guess people save all their business till the end? Nothing that couldn’t be handled in one on one conversations, yet we were “treated” to hearing the details in front of the whole committee.
Debbie is off to Rome (GA, sadly) for a meeting tonight, so I’ll be on my own. I wonder what trouble the children and I can get into??

For the bruises? No
For the chest? I have been prescribed Lipitor (generic) and need to start taking it, once I read up on the details.
Also, found out through Googling that my cardiologist is 79 years old. Wow, I can guarantee that (if alive) I shan’t be coding in 25 years… 😉
Investigate (free) GoodRX for a significant discount on meds. It cut the cost of a one-time med I was prescribed from like “$450” (WTH?!) to $20-something.
Ditto for Costco as a meds supplier.
