It’s good that I rarely have free access to Krispy Kreme doughnuts because I have discovered that I can freeze the non-Creme-filled ones, and bring them back to warm-goodness using a microwave oven. 😋

Last night’s trail was a lot of fun, a little more than four miles and ending at Milltown Arms Tavern in Cabbagetown. There was a moment that I was FRB (having knowledge of the end helped 😉) and another moment or two where I was doing something called “running”, albeit it slowly. I accidentally ordered a real-meat hamburger last night because I was told that there Impossible Burgers were frozen and would take some time to prepare, and I thought I was ordering a mushroom and Swiss cheese sandwich, but instead ordered a mushroom and Swiss cheese hamburger.

I wish that I could say something nice about last night’s football game, but I can’t think of anything nice to say.

Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 213.6 pounds (-1.2 from last week’s weigh-in); the scale says “better”, the pants say “still a lot of work to do”.

Back from horse land. 1000 miles of driving. 2 horses, now at the trainer- both very sweet girls. We would have been home at a reasonable hour, but the stop south of Nashville went long because we had to wait on the trainer to show up and demonstrate where the horse was in the training program. Very interesting to see him demonstrate the behavior of the horse- how to get her to do certain things and what “button to push” to get the result.

We left there about 3, which put us in Chattanooga traffic in 95 degree heat. I wasn’t going to sit in traffic with horses melting in the trailer, so we went through Chickamauga, Summerville, near Rome and Cedartown to get to Bowdon and the trainer. Finally home after 8:30. Whipped.

nothing exciting going on with us –
watched the football game for a while last night – Browns didn’t look too bad.
but – I feel for the Jets -they had to go with the 3rd string quarterback after #2 got hurt. But -he didn’t seem all that bad really.

    Wow.. that’s sad news.

And just a reminder kids, lunch at OK Café is Thursday. Paulie, are you the designated driver?
