Fun evening hanging out with Betsy. My free-styled version of the recipe I posted yesterday was
outstanding, and I will definitely make a version of it again in the future.

Well- big news for yesterday was – we finally got Allan’s truck back into the garage!!!
We got all the tools for the most part put away, most everything that is going back into the kitchen, back into the kitchen.
Its not 100% done, but we are getting pretty darn close.
2 more big boxes filled to go to charity.
Now to just get the cabinet doors & drawer fronts (supposed to be today).
Next up – start cleaning…….. Isay we hire someone, but Allan doesn’t want to do that.
Then the bench seat needs to be built- but we can survive with out that for now.
Also – we plan to do Wheelhopper Sunday.
and maybe even AH4 down in Newnan Saturday.
We do have to pack for our roadtrip to PA – find our tent camping gear.
Any suggestions on places to sightsee on a trip to State College, PA?
Attempted to rescue the tractor last night with the help of a neighbor and his tractor. We shook it pretty well but no significant movement. Broke 2 load straps in the process. Heard from the manager at Bear Creek and will meet him later this morning. Bringing my logging chain.
Luke Rowe and Tony Martin DQ’d for “fighting”. At least don’t do it at the front of the field in view of the cameras. Idiots.

fighting? on the bike, or off?
that sounds fun to watch.
On. More of getting physical for position, but this wasn’t a Kirin race.
It was more aggressive riding, trying to cut each other off, with a couple feeble attempts at “fighting†while riding.
I’m still deciding but I’m leaning toward not doing Wheelhopper. The hare gave me a bit different info than you did Barb, and I will probably chicken out… Was hoping to ride some trails this week but my constraints don’t seem to be allowing that to happen. Also thinking about going to Newnan Saturday but still undecided. “Shameless plug†for Body Glide—Brewery Road plays at Eventide Saturday night at 6:00. I had fun the last time they played there, and I like hanging out at Eventide regardless.
Not sure what I am doing this weekend yet. I hear that REI is having a “garage sale†and I can always use more toys. 🙄
I should probably starts cleaning house, cook some food, etc.
we found some sort of hand crank blender – Allan said he got it somewhere for camping. I can gift it to you in you need a new toy?
We are hoping to go to Newnan for the hash Saturday too – memories of Hedon trails……….
I have never had the need to blend anything while camping…
me either – that’s why it confuses me. Its very old – but still in the box……..
I’m sure some hasher would want it—you could bring it this weekend to unload it? I can think of things hashers might like to blend at a campout… margaritas, froses, etc. Me too for that matter but I’m too lazy and I like to limit my dishwashing :).
In an effort to uphold my eating of meat no more than twice in a week I forced myself to cobble together a “lunch†from snacks at today’s “XYZ Corp†meeting because none of the sandwiches ordered for the meeting were vegetarian. 🤨
In some cases (not sure if yours qualifies), eating meat may be the healthier option vs. “snacks.†Just sayin’. But kudos for upholding your goal. *Fist bump* 🙂
I was dumbfounded that there were no vegetarian options. I guess “XYZ Corp†hasn’t hired enough millennials or people from India? 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸
The meat sandwiches may have been healthier overall, but, I found it more important (for me today, as you know I have bent the rule before) to try and follow the rule I have set out for myself.
