Pre-long-weekend trip to Krispy Kreme and then Waschsalon.
Wednesday Tale of the Tape: 213.8 pounds (+1.8 from last week’s weigh-in); and the roller coaster goes back up!

And unfortunately the Waschsalon attendant is late, at least by five minutes as I type this. 😡
Eighteen minutes, and now competition for washing machines has arrived. It sucks because I am counting on washing the shirt in which I will has tonight.
Thirty minutes. Ugh.
Forty minutes.
Forty-five minutes, finally!
Wow. Ugh.
are you going to Painful Member?
Yes, that’s why I had to do my laundry this morning since I hadn’t packed a clean hash shirt.
I am! My (and Paulie’s) friend Wendy is also coming. She did PM last year.
I’m not sure if we are yet or not……… will be a gametime decision.
Unless I get really inspired to do PM, I’ll be a no show. I know we will be released early, as is typical on a holiday eve and I just couldn’t kill time until 7. Have fun!
With very few folks here, I’m getting work done with only my onw distractions to get in the way, like vacation planning. Found a nice sea kayak tour out of Bar Harbor. Passed on the 9 hour, 180 mile long lighthouse tour into Canadian waters on a catamaran. Hoping I don’t hurl in the kayak.
And travel arrangements have finally been requested for Tour of Utah. Of course, now that it’s just a bit over a month out, Delta prices are through the roof. SW is reasonable, but all have a stop.

Having sailed those waters back when I was in the Navy, I’d say good call on skipping the catamaran ride. On your kayak trip I’d pack (or eat beforehand) saltines or maybe Goldfish crackers, plus take sort of ginger candy, such as this:

Sounds like an amazing trip. I’ve only seen Maine in the winter, but loved it. The Navy had me based in Charleston in the summers and Maine in the winters for a couple of years.
Sounds like a $hitty deal on both ends unless you were a ski bum/beach bum. Charleston in the summer is no prize.
I’m looking forward to it.
