Attended a fun show, Operators at The EARL, last night with Bonnie and an old co-worker/friend Mitch. At the show I wondered how I was first introduced to Dan Boeckner (once of Wolf Parade); all came clear when I read that Wolf Parade’s (a Canadian band) first album dropped in 2005, during the heyday of CBC Radio 3’s podcasting era.
This morning finds me at Krispy Kreme, where I just finished an apple fritter, awaiting the opening of the Waschsalon.
German class returns today.
Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 212.0 pounds (0.0 from last week’s weigh-in). Okay, now I can focus on other issues today.

Once I got home and freed the ponies, I started mowing some pasture. As I looked to the West, the clouds were really pretty but really dark. After a couple of big lightning flourishes, I headed back indoors. A short burst of really heavy rain (sorry, ponies) and it was done.
Watched the CNN Films Apollo 11 special. Lots of high quality video- some shots you’ve likely seen but broadcast quality. This is much better, plus some stuff never before seen from inside the capsule and such. I enjoyed it. I’m sure it will be on again.

Oh boy! One of the weather apps I consult says that we will surpass 100° F multiple times next week. Hope that they are wrong.
I hope they are wrong too, Travis will be at Boy Scout camp all next week with no A/C. Might be a little rough.
Let Atlanta fry! I’ll be in Milwaukee. 😉

Awww that’s cute. Waukesha. 🙂
Just received an email telling me that my German class starts next Tuesday, and not tonight. At least that’s what I think it says, I’m not sure because it was written in German. 😂
Funny. Ist der skule geschlossen?
