Already a busy Summer Solstice day as the fire alarm in the office building went off not five minutes after I arrived. Thankfully it was a false alarm, and since it wasn’t a scheduled test there were no chicken biscuits to eschew upon returning inside.
I spent a fun afternoon with friends watching soccer yesterday at Midway, and then Bonnie and I walked up to the village and ate at the taco stand inside the food collective, or whatever that is called. The food was great, though my Mexican corn was super-salty, and reasonably priced; I’ll return.
On my walk home I took a one-minute spin in what has become a depressing farmers market. Unlike years ago not every stall was taken, there were maybe three stands selling vegetables, and the bread stand wasn’t there (which is probably great for my waistline).
Happy Friday all.
A fairly calm evening. Some might call my exercise running, but with many walk breaks in 3 miles, I’m not sure what it was.
Tomorrow, our friend Doug Kees is having a concert at a local theater in Newnan, celebrating 30 years in business and his new CD release. Should be a fun evening. I bring Debbie downtown Sunday for her week long conference (and unload her rental truck of materials). I may be available to ride in the vicinity, depending on the time.

Assuming a start ever gets posted, Sunday is a Black Sheep hashing day
Yeah, Wee and I have to be at Black Sheep to publicize our July 7 trail! 😮
Just got today’s biking in… 20-mile ride to Georgia Perimeter College and back. Yay me :). Perhaps I burned off yesterday’s Midway beers. I averaged 13 MPH which is great for me—I’ve only beaten that once (14 MPH) since I’ve been recording rides, but that was on the (flat) Silver Comet.
Nothing exciting in our world – Allan is hoping to wire in some lights for the kitchen – that would be amazing to have lights again.
That is exciting! 🙂
Electrifying, even!! (I crack myself up)
“watching & listening” to a workplace harassment video.
I really wish we could just take the test questions.
thank god for 3 screens on my desk.
I wish. I just got off a 3.5 hour problem call… I’ll trade you.
