Enjoy your Rosa’s lunch today.
I’m busy working, keeping my eyes on the weather forecast, as well as scrambling to get all of my cycling and camping gear packed into the M6. My ETD is 13:00.

So who all is coming to lunch?
Finally invested in some new running shoes! I can’t remember the last time I bought a pair- I have plenty of hash shoes, but nothing that still has some bounce. A little shop in downtown Newnan just happens to carry Mizuno, so I shopped local. Took them out for a little run last night and they felt pretty good.
And all you in town folks should remember big time bike racing comes back to Hapeville and College Park next weekend. 5/4-5. End of the SpeedWeek event, so should be some big fields for the pro races.

I’ll be there. 11:30, Rosa’s Pizza on Broad Street.
I’ll be there! 🙂 We can take it to go and eat in the park maybe?
Pizza in the park would be splendid.
Pizza in the park WAS splendid! 🙂 🙂 Thank you to my two muy guapo dinner dates!
Gracias, encantadora dama!
I had a witty reply that apparently got snared in moderation. Thank you for joining us! We couldn’t have arranged better weather if we’d tried.
HA! I just got an email saying that there’s a Health & Wellness Fair happening at the Five Points MARTA station (soccer “field”) from 12-2 today. Let’s get our pizza and eat it there hahahaha oh hey lookit our healthy health pizza…. 😉
HA!
Stacy, lovely to finally meet you in person. Here’s the place where you can get one-person casseroles to park in your freezer:
https://www.casserolesatlanta.com/
I’ve been buying casseroles from that place for over a decade now.
Interesting!
pizza – wish I could go!
ETA to depart Marietta is maybe 1230 – I get out of here at 1200- and hopefully we have everything ready. I just need to stop & buy High Life as it is the rehydrating beer (forgot to do that yesterday) and ice.
A lovely day to meet friends and eat pizza! Those not in attendance were talked about!!
Nicely, of course. 🙂
Steve, here’s the link to an article about meal kits having less of a carbon foot print than grocery shopping. I thought I saw it on Quartz first, but maybe not:
https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/meal-kits-may-be-more-environmentally-friendly-grocery-shopping-180972022/
Very interesting. As we discussed, it wouldn’t be my first thought and the additional packaging is a factor. I wonder just how much less of a carbon footprint?
Oh CRAP. We forgot to talk about Barb. Okay, we’ll have to do it again. 😉
Ha! Yes, I realized that she missed the cut, but was going to keep it on the down-low. 🙂
Well damn….. I’m hurt.
We’ll double up on you next time. 😉
