I am really going to miss the lack of traffic when Spring break is over next week.

    I bought a bike yesterday at Atlanta Cycling. It’s a fitness bike and it ticked a lot of boxes. The road bikes I liked started at nearly twice the price (hydraulic disc brakes, 105 components, carbon fork/full carbon). Although I REALLY liked the road bikes, I just don’t think they are ideal for my other in-town commuting. I’ll ride this for a while and if I’m dying for / capable of a true road bike experience then I’ll buy one. Let’s face it—no fancy road bike will allow me to keep up with you guys. 😁 But maybe I can ride a bit faster than with my mountain bike. 😁 I hope we can all ride together(ish) again soon. I ordered a new bike in lieu of buying the floor model and I pick it up on Thursday. Thanks to all of you that gave me advice! 😘

    I was thinking – how far is your house from the start of the hash tomorrow?
    (Brownwood Park, south end at Ormewood) – that’s really close – isn’t it?
    maybe I can park by your house?

      It’s about three blocks away. I walk to all of the Moonlite hashes that start at Brownwood Park.

          Oh thanks Barb! I’ll probably be in the area much earlier than you though. I’m “laying” the shooting start trail that starts at the end of the hash — as in, I have it plotted out anyway — so am meeting up with some of shot sponsors to show them their locations. (Trail is an added bonus to the hash for whoever wants to do it; it’ll be announced at the On-In) My friend Jay will be in town staying with me so we’ll just share an Uber over. 🙂

      I was just texting with “Just Benne” (from Cheddarhead) and he will be at Orange Dress. He says it’s his 5th trail, but not all from the same kennel…

    Good morning from Miami. A fairly gentle flight and cab ride. Trying to get my ducks in a row for the switch install tomorrow.

    Last nights late work went well. Easy on my part- walk around and verify the wireless is active, and be prepared to do whatever is needed.

    Cloudland Canyon camping (wheelhopper, but anyone can come) Sept 20-22.
    I just booked site 39, John & Kat are on 41. Others have sites booked, but that’s too much for me to keep up with

      I wish. That’s the weekend before Lake Hartwell campout and I’m sure I won’t be able to get away with doing both. I do want to go to Clouldland Canyon sometime though…

      I may book a a site, seeing how I don’t think I’ll be taking a “big” this year I may take a lot of little ones instead.
