Just a boring Presidents Day yesterday.
Tuesday Tale of the Tape: 210.0 pounds (-1.2 from last week’s weigh-in); better.

*Fist bump* Paulie.
Thanks
Ugh, one of the M6’s tire’s pressure was low this morning. Had to book an 8am service at Mazda in Morrow. Also have a noon appointment in midtown. I hope all goes to plan…
I think the TPS issue is just a racket to get you into the dealer. Otherwise, they would have fixed it by now.
While I should have gotten out on the road yesterday, I did a little trail maintenance for the mizzus. A tree had fallen (some time ago) across her regular route to and from home. I finally got around to cutting it up a bit so she could pass through. Then I took a lap of the nearby trails to make sure they were clear. Going up one steep and rutted hill, I managed to get only 2 wheels on the ground. It was a fun puzzle to solve and not have to turn around.
The horses were in last night and almost no rain. I’m sure Debbie left them in today as it really will be coming down shortly. Ugh.

Could be. Sadly when I called, after rebooting my phone because I couldn’t make a call from the Contacts app, I could not get an earlier appointment. While I am there the M6 will be getting the 55k-mile work done too.
Work on me will resume upon my return. I need to stop feeling pain in my chest, along with other nags such as coughing and such. I wonder if I should elevate this to a Tier-Two doctor, or if my normal doctor is up for reassessing her last assumption.
It certainly can’t hurt. When I arrived home yesterday from my tractor adventures. Debbie was already at home and in bed. She can’t shake this respiratory ailment- of course, foxhunting in the damp probably didn’t help. I’m lobbying for a visit to an actual doctors visit.
And for today’s “Positive Spinâ€, the office cafeteria is now using paper food containers instead of styrofoam. Yea Earth!
I should probably get my head checked too as I just passed up a free Sublime doughnut. 😮
*Fist bump*
Definitely need your head checked!
We got 2 new tires for the truck -so that was much more expensive than the oil change we had planned on. Oh well…………
got some fuses checked & replaced too.
Montana’s (a very smoky bar) is next door – so had a couple beers with some friends that hang out there way too much. Clothes are airing out on the deck before being laundered someday. I always remember after being there why we don’t go there very often.
The other day Bonnie informed me that the Vortex in L5P is now smoke-free. It may be time to take a Meat Day trip there in the near future.
I wonder if that also means they dropped the “you must be 21 to enter”? I hope so, I love me some Vortex as does Laura but we can never go as a family (much to Bonnie’s glee as you hate kids 🙂 ).
No such luck, Bob. The owner flatly stated when making the smoke-free announcement that they’re still a bar. Their web site also makes it categorically clear:
https://thevortexatl.com/policies/age-restriction/
Bob – you just have to go when Travis is at a friend’s house.
I haven’t been to the Vortex in forever.
I do get that. Lots of their decor is NOT for young eyes.
I don’t “hate†kids…. 🙂. I know I did go on a rant last month…
