My lust for attending German classes is waning. Last night during class I used an uninteresting (to me) reading about wolves to get my shopping list for tonight’s Massaman Curry with Tofu dish in order and to make some notes about some chores which need to get done before next Monday. Hopefully the new book (in German) that I started reading, about a boy from Atlanta who spends a year abroad in Germany, will rekindle my interest. Get it, using an ebook on my Kindle to rekindle…

Prior to class I inexplicably ate a burrito at Willy’s (“wasting” a meal out, since, like with Moe’s I think there are many far-better food options abound) and got in a short walk in yesterday afternoon’s incredible weather.

Long read about a dude who robbed 26 banks using his bicycle as a get away vehicle:

    • Huh, should have used an ebike at least.

I went to high school with a guy who, later in life, reportedly attempted to rob a bank on foot. This occurred well before the internet was invented, so I have no idea if it’s true.

He was doing just fine until he happened across a cop after one of his heists. The cop noticed he had a messenger bag, and wanted to look inside. The guy punked the cop and got away that time, but it was the beginning of the end. He was riding a second-hand custom bike that eventually was traced back to him.

We were circling each other last night. I almost went to Willy’s myself but opted for Subway instead. But come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a Willy’s before.

That Willy’s at Piedmont gets most of my business for lunch when I’m out. It’s consistent.

It’s beautiful in Miami. We’ve surveyed the property, thinking about new camera locations to guard against an attack from the bike path the city is installing! Crazed bikers!!

I did actually run after work yesterday. Amazed my legs don’t hurt more than they do. I might try again today, considering the amount of food we’ve been eating.
