Baby it’s cold outside. So cold that I am putting off my Waschsalon visit until tomorrow.

    it is cold, but not sure it will be any better tomorrow.

    sounds like an ugly weather weekend is coming up.

      If my weather app is to be believed it should be more than 5° F warmer tomorrow morning than it was today.

      As an added benefit my laziness allowed me to talk to my mother on the phone this morning when she called around 7:30am.

    I went to spin class last night -2 weeks in a row!
    Allan even came along.
    Vanessa and I are shooting for Monday & Wednesday next week.

    There is a minute chance that I will attend SLUT tonight. I didn’t pack clothes in the car, so I probably won’t. I’ll probably ride the trainer and watch The Great British Bake Off instead.

    “Opened” my first “Christmas gift” today, a $100 iTunes gift card that I bought from Amazon on Black Friday for $80. 😁 It will come in handy when I purchase the next season of Top Chef.

      I love Christmas presents for myself.
      We are going appliance shopping at lunch, I have a feeling my Christmas present to myself will be a very expensive rangetop. (& oven)

    Back from the eye doctor (please excuse any mistyping as my eyes are still dilated). All good for another 6 months.

    Managed a half hour on the trainer, wrapped in a sweatshirt. 48 degrees in the man cave, but my electric heater was doing what it could.

    This afternoon will be our quarterly departmental meeting, including beer and wine- a first. I’m sure there will be limits, but still a nice touch to be considered adults.

        That has always struck me as prime real estate that is underutilized, but without putting a few parcels together, it’s not big enough for much.

        Rumor has it that Chase is going to build a bank branch there, in a newly-constructed building obviously.

        I figure the owners were holding out for more money.
        Bummer they decided to sell, its nice to have a free parking lot at a restaurant.
        Speaking of hold outs – is Elbow Room still in Buckhead, sandwiched between 2 much taller buildings? We need to go there sometime again.

        Huh, have forgotten about Elbow Room. I probably wouldn’t recognize much of Buckhead in its current state.

      I made a pilgrimage during the previous death scare. Wasn’t impressed, in my opinion the place is ready to be put out of its misery.

      It’s only money and as much as you guys cook, it might as well be good. You’ll have a long time to use it since you aren’t going anywhere.
