Started my travel at 5:00am MDT
Ended my travel at 9:30pm EDT
My Apple Watch claimed I “took it easy” yesterday. Whatever…

Better recap tomorrow when I have adjusted my body clock.

  1. Barb says:

    good morning –
A fun birthday dinner at Ippolito’s in Sandy Springs, our waiter “forgot” to put in our order, so dinner was delayed, but we had wine – so we were fine. He gave us 3 cannoli for dessert (instead of my 1 birthday one) for his mistake.

Tomorrow is book of Mormon, I wasn’t thinking about Allan having to be at work at 6:30, show doesn’t start until 7:30 so I will really appreciate Stacy (and anyone else) coming out for a drink before the show.
But – because of that 6:30 time, we may not be able to go meet Jenka at Cypress Street Pub. I’m hoping to leave work early & be downtown parked by 5:15. Still trying to figure this out.

    • Stacy says:

For some reason I had it in my head it was yesterday. Maybe because that’s your actual birthday? I dunno. 🙂 But, yes, I can still meet you for a drink before the show tomorrow. I’m typically home from work about 4:15 so you can just holler when you’re in town and I’ll come out and meet you.

    • While I have no official plans for tomorrow I am not sure if I can come down to meet you. I’ll make a decision tomorrow and let you know.

  2. Trying to remember what I was doing at work two weeks ago is difficult.

  3. Steve says:

To the dentist yesterday with not a lot of resolution. Removed the old bridge (with difficulty), took pictures, “might need a root canal… let’s wait.”. This morning, annoyingly painful, perhaps provoked by sugar in my coffee. Ugh.

Apparently, no one showed Greg Van Avermot the script at the TdF yesterday as he forgot he wasn’t a climber and put time into the GC contenders. Next 2 days have mountaintop finishes, so things might shake out as expected.

  4. Mowed my lawn this morning. Surprised that it really didn’t need to be mowed. Either because I mowed it so short before leaving, or maybe you didn’t have much rain?

  5. I may regret doing this, but if you don’t mind a bit of off-tune singing then here is the video of Tamara and me joining Pub Choir YEG for their singing of “Downtown” last Wednesday night.

    • Steve says:

Looks like a great time. How long did you “rehearse”?

      • The whole event was about an hour. The guy playing keyboard broke down sections based by our singing range, and then we put it all together for one practice run before the video sing.

I had two beers during my time there (we were there about 20 minutes prior to the event’s start).

  6. And if you follow me on Instagram (@insideperimeter) you can see snapshots of all (well, most) of the beers I drank while in Canada. 🇨🇦

  7. It is really hot — like Edmonton hot — out there today!
