In addition to Relay bikes and Bird scooters there are now rental eBikes and mopeds around town, parked on the sidewalks. Enough already!

I doubt all four companies can survive and the market will sort it all out.

      Today is Waschsalon and hashing for me.

      My accomplishments for the weekend included drinking too much, mowing the lawns, doing Wheelhopper, and twice pulling off an “Irish Exit”.

    Back at Matson, of course they haven’t set up my logins, so filling out paperwork & doing nothing.

    Weekend was good, yesterday was busy, went to Wheelhopper & then Incredibles 2 with some of them. Fun movie, can’t believe it took 14 years to make the 2nd one.

    Trying to wake up this morning.

    A great weekend of racing. The crit Friday was fun. Better racing from the women than the men. I know there was a herd coming out of the pit once, but I don’t think there was anything serious. Rode bitch to lunch hosted by some of the local officials on Saturday. I forgot how noisy and windy it can be on the back of a scooter at highway speeds. As I was not the driver, I didn’t have the advantage of the windshield, so felt like a sail most of the time.

    Road race Sunday was long and hot. As I was chief judge, it was my job to decide who was out of contention. There were a lot of smiling faces when I gave them “the hook”. The drive home last night was really pleasant- podcasts and Krystals! And air conditioning!!

    Just renewed tag online. Hope to get new sticker in hand before I go on vacation on the 5th. 😬

      If you don’t get it in time, it’s no big deal. When they run your tag, they’ll know it’s renewed.

        It’s more that I will be putting a hold on my mail, and I don’t have the utmost confidence that the East Atlanta post office will do their job correctly (based on past failures).

    I’m online finally – but they just disabled my email when I quit, so now it is reloading all the useless emails I’ve gotten over the past 3 months. we get hundreds & hundreds of group emails a day, most that don’t pertain to me.
    So really, I can’t do anything yet.

      I recommend you set up some email filters to weed out at least some of what you don’t need to see. Your future self will thank you for doing this while you have a window in which you can.

        oh, the filters are in place, it is just trying to load all the emails, and sort, and auto delete, etc. its just locked up. I’m permanently deleting as quickly as I can. It just FULL.
        so – no real work for me today.
