Cheese biscuits for breakfast on a meat-eating day. I hope to be able to work them off by riding my trainer later.

I am so ready for this vacation. Yesterday, I noticed our return had a 14 hour layover in Newark (!!!). The first Priceline rep said we needed a minimum of 150 minutes to make the connection/clear customs in Newark. She found a reroute via London if we could depart earlier in the day. After considering our options for a couple of hours, I called back and got a different agent who hooked us up with the original booking!! I’m confused.
Rode a good 40 minutes last night, despite the last of my disease hanging on.
Last day of work!!

14 hours in Newark – sounds like time to do some NJ sightseeing!
Grab a cab/uber/lyft and at least go get some food – outside the airport.
or – pay the big bucks for a SkyClub & go get a shower (though, an no tell motel might be cheaper than that)
I agree with Barb, figure out a game plan. I got stuck in Newark once, 5:00 PM flight finally left out at 3:00 AM, after flights had been cancelled left and right all evening. You definitely do not want to burn a day of your life in that airport.
Allan got to go see Lion King again last night – I had the day from hell, so I didn’t even get home until 7:30pm. I just ate some leftovers & watched some DVR – I actually watched This Is Us on the actual night- so when people post about it on FB, I don’t have to wonder what they are talking about.
Barb, I had to watch it this morning before work so that it wouldn’t be spoiled for me. Glad I did!
next show that is on after the Super Bowl is the BIG one!
We are burning up what’s left of this months data streaming “The Crown”. Such a well done series.
I got the tickets changed so we have a minimum of time in Newark. I’m sure it’s a lovely place… not.
Been a severely hectic morning, all because of my own decisions. Finally settled I the office.
LOL!
Several weeks ago, I called the “gutter guy” to get our gutters cleaned. No response. Called back, left another message. Nothing. Weather turned bad, and I got distracted with my Mother, etc.
Anyways, glanced at my “driveway webcam” just now and gutter dude is up on the roof, cleaning away. (At least I hope it’s him!)
Turns out dude was sick with the flu, then the turned bad weather, etc.
Dude does a really good job, and is the cheapest guy around. By far.
All’s well, that ends well. 🙂

BTW: I don’t even own a ladder that will reach our roof…
Gonna share his name/number?
