Think Of Something Interesting About Which To Write, Paulie

I’m stumped. Except for continued whining about my credit card situation, the “We attempted to charge your card but it failed” messages have arrived but the replacement card has not, there is not much going on in my world.

In the mailbox were two pieces of mail that were held for me since Friday, the last day in the “3-5 business day” window given to me for my new credit card. I wonder it arrived on the day that my mailbox was open when I arrived home last week? I called the credit card company, who promptly cancelled the new number, and promised me that I’d have a new card by tomorrow. I’ll believe it when I see it. In the meanwhile I am going to start the process of moving all recurring payments to my AmEx.

My hip/leg are feeling okay today, but it’s too soon for me to declare victory. I do need to start getting some exercise however, because my pants are now not feeling that great.

Today is the last day for my “boss” at “XYZ Corp” and there is another “all hands” meeting tomorrow, so there’s that. Who knows, perhaps the first thing I charge to my new Visa will be a trip taken during another hiatus from work…

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

You need to do yoga, actually I need to look in a mirror when I say that. I have struggled with hip pain/stiffness for years. It goes away the more I move but when I sit for a while it hurts to get going. Forget about sitting on the floor for any period of time, that really hurts. I know yoga will help but I just can’t seem to take that first step (or is it first stretch?)

Glad you’re feeling a little better. When is the PT appointment?

Speaking of hips and PT, my co-chairman on the Games committee had hip replacement surgery yesterday. I told him as long as he was back to 3/4 speed by October, he had my blessing. Everything seems to have gone well.

Games meeting last night- nothing urgent.

Just called about my car- they are having trouble finding a replacement computer… so we wait. They “should” know something later today. Don’t hold your breath.
