I couldn’t settle down for sleep until nearly 1:00am last night. No reason, slept just didn’t seem to be on the agenda. Consequently I overslept this morning and am behind my tightly-wound schedule. I probably just need to grab some covfefe this morning… 😉
Here’s a photo that I took yesterday afternoon. Stare deeply into its recesses and eyes and find the meanings that aren’t there.
“Color My World” (Atlanta, Georgia, United States)
Truth be told, I just love color against a start white background, and kind of love the way the positioning of the overhead lights cast different shades of shadows of my hands and iPhone upon the table.
That’s going to have to be a wrap for today. See, you lucked out and didn’t have to read bout my pain and itching and weight gain.
Make it a great Wednesday.
Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]
Because of you lovely, lovely people, I got to get a sandwich at the “Ga Tech” Publix on the way into work this morning. 🙂 Score! But WOW, I don’t get over there that much. That whole area is crazy under construction, isn’t it?
It is amazing, and somewhat frightening, how much construction is happening in midtown.
I was once asked what my vanity license plate would be, if I were ever to have one, and the word that popped out of my mouth was “SCORE!”. Your comment is fun to me on a couple of levels. 🙂
Ha!
Obviously my Georgia dream vanity tag would be “ITP”.
CHEZNIPS, of course. 😀
How much under construction? This much-

Stacy, are you still driving into the office?
Lola went out on a trail ride with Debbie and Phinney last night. She behaved herself and was a good girl. Now if we can keep her from counter surfing and being in our faces when we eat. I thought we were going to kill her while we made pizza last night.
Packed and ready to roll to Augusta after lunch. 800 Master riders start with a time trial tomorrow, 2 days of road races at Ft. Gordon Friday and Saturday, then crits in downtown on Sunday. Long days…

Yikes! I wonder if there will be a Starbucks in each of those? 🙄
2.
Oh yes. Because, amazingly, my route has 0% construction on it (Myrtle to Ponce, Ponce to Spring, Spring changes to Centennial O. and my lot’s right on that corner at Portman).
I live close enough to Midtown MARTA for fun, but it would still be a few blocks there from home and then a few blocks walk from Peachtree Center MARTA to the office both ways each day. It would take me considerably longer to use transit to work than just to drive myself. (Considering parking is free, it’d be an added expense for me to MARTA too.)
Bicycle!! Seems such a shame to live so close and not ride, but maybe that’s just me.
A: That would involve purchasing a bicycle — again, an added expense to me.
B: How many people do we know who have been seriously injured or even killed being hit by cars while on bikes? On these city streets, no thank you.
Or falling off curbs even… ☹ï¸
