From An Undisclosed Location

Let’s just say that the items here were not Grown at my Home.

This breakfast was Plan A, but then there was no parking so I started driving to Plan B (Folk Art) but encountered insane traffic, so I have returned to Plan A, where I found a parking spot on the street.

I am blogging on my iPhone so this will be short and plain.

Yesterday I did something that I have been planning to do since quitting my job – walk to East Atlanta Village for lunch. It being Taco Tuesday I wandered up to Tomatillos and noshed on some catfish tacos, rice, black beans, with chips and salsa.

Today I am hoping to start getting my shit together in regards to health, work, and fun. Today’s goal is to write some code, get some exercise, and translate some German.

Dangen, I took a nice photo of my breakfast but can’t get a link
From Flickr. You can look at my Flickr or Instagram accounts, I am “InsidePerimeter” on each, to see it.

Okay time to eat and then conquer my day. Enjoy yours, friends!

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

    Why the location secrecy?

  2. Just being cheeky. I am at Homegrown on Memorial Drive.

He’s afrain the CIA has been tracking him- forgot his tinfoil hat.

A quiet night watching baseball- the Cleveland pitcher was fairly unhittable. I saw several Cubs batters back off the plate in fear of being hit by a pitch, which then broke and crossed the plate as a strike! And the Cubs pitcher doesn’t throw to first base? Is that not in his contract? WTF, O??

I hope we are wrong, but Maggie has gone AWOL and we’re afraid she might have fallen into harm. Debbie opened the door for Zelda to go out at some point through the night and Maggie went along. She is the least likely of the four to wander too far, so this is troubling. Damnit.

  4. I am so pissed off right now. After literally watching somebody drive a car off a curb, what do I do, I took a right turn too tightly and then put a nice ding into one of my car tire rims. Fuck me.

  5. Goddamnit it’s even worse. I just saw that I cut the tire top. Off to the dealership! So much for having a good day….

Oh no, Steve! Well hopefully Maggie’s just out explorin’ and will come back on her own? I hate hearing things like this and am hoping for the best.

Never been to Homegrown so it wasn’t on my radar… NOW I get the “not Grown at My Home” joke. Have been to Folk Art a couple times, but only for dinner. The breakfast/brunch crowds are always CRAZY HUGE.

  7. Weekday breakfasts at Folk Art aren’t bad.

Sitting at car dealership keeping fingers crossed. Added 30k service to this trip, hoping final tally is less than $700. Tomorrow’s post will detail cost of this boneheaded maneuver.

    Hoping Maggie is okay, Steve.

Everyone seems to be having bad days.
My left elbow (good arm) is all swollen, I’m at the doctor waiting right now.
On the good news side, colonoscopy yesterday was all good, don’t have to do that again for 10 years.
Work is insanely busy,I don’t have time for this today.

  9. Still paying penance at car dealership. I deserve this for being a shithead.

  10. steve says:

You’re not a shithead. If you were, WE would tell you. Unlucky schmuck? You bet.
