Work Got In The Way

I can escape the office, but I can never escape the office.

I was debugging problems at 8am this morning, took a brief respite in order to drive my coworker to the airport, and just got off a conference call. I need a drink.

I’m now in the process of brewing myself a cup of coffee at the Raleigh Royalty Estate.

    No recruiting today?

    We had the SE Regional Tech Committee call last night, and since I was providing the conference bridge, I decided to get a solid phone signal as well as free wireless. I sat out in front of the Café in Luthersville (which was closed) and connected to their wireless so I could look at assignments. It worked out pretty well.

    I hope work calms down (yours, not mine.)
