Stealing Minutes From Here And There

There simply not enough hours in my waking day to accomplish all that I want to accomplish so I am trying to steal time from here and there.

Last night while doing laundry I listened to two hour’s worth of podcasts. And after laundry was done I triaged personal email while I ate dinner at El Pollo Norteño. By the time I arrived home and put away all of my clean clothes it was past 10:00pm. I allowed myself to watch some downloaded television content on my iPad before I fell asleep.

This morning I did an hour on the trainer, watching more of season one of The Amazing Race. I’m starting to see some of the reasons rules were changed in subsequent seasons. It’s amazing (no pun intended) to see how the world has changed since this was first broadcast two days prior to “9/11”. I’m also the type of sentimental sucker that wishes someone would make a “Where Are They Now?” documentary to see what has transpired in fifteen years — assuming the racers are still living and talking to one-another.

There was just something interesting about this trash can’s contents to me. Alternate title: “Get Your Popcorn Here!”

If I hear of trivia plans tonight I’d like to partake. If not, I’m sure that I can find something to occupy the time, you know, like doing German homework or something. After all, I have to get ready for Düsseldorf in June…

Cheers,

A good way to “hear of” trivia plans is to ask. 🙂 We’re all in, so please join us.

Currently boning up on Bowie songs, Rickman movies, and Oscar nominations….er, I mean, I will be on my lunch break. Yeah, that’s it.

I went & played Rummikub at an old folks home last night in Sandy Springs with a couple friends – they just started the game night back up, so we only had 1 lady. But -I haven’t played that game in forever, so it was fun. There was another group of old folks paying pinochle (I think that is what they were playing at least)

We might be interested in trivia tonight……….

  3. Um, where will trivia be played tonight? 🙂

Camelli’s. 🙂 That $30 prize is only gonna live in my wallet for so long before I decide to use it myself hahahaha kidding not kidding.

  5. Excellent, I will see you there!

    pizza……… yum……. I wonder if I can talk Allan into a trip into town………
probably not, but it sure sounds good.
I’ll let you all know if we can do it.

I had hoped on attending trivia, but Debbie/we have been invited to a surprise birthday party “in town” (i.e. Newnan) so won’t be coming back to town.

Debbie made pizza “from scratch” last night. OK, using the Publix pizza dough, and it turned out really well. I think a few adjustments could make it even more perfect.

Before that, there was finally some suffering! Yard work or meetings have been getting in the way and there needs to be suffering!

And are there still plans for hockey on the 23rd? If so, I’m in!
