The ‘I’ Stands For ‘Introvert’

Shorter, plainer post today as I await the start of Plywood Prewents.

It’s another humid day in the city and my body is starting to show it, in a rather unflattering way. I have had to untuck my shirt. If the air conditioning in The Tabernacle doesn’t overcome this so we’ll all be sweating as if we were attending an old time Baptist sermon.

Well, it took fifty years but my hairline is starting to noticeably recede. On the bright side with less hair there will be less hair to look shitty when I sweat. Positive!

Okay, the conference is about to start and I am tired of typing on my iPhone.

Have a great sweat-free day, friends.

Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]

Does work pay for these type of conferences? or – are you just taking a day off & doing it on your own dime.

  2. Stacy says:

Have fun at the “concert” – hahaha. You are at the Tabernacle afterall.

We’re doing the trivia machine again tonight folks, but as our favorite DJ is no longer at Corner Tavern, we’re mixing things up a bit. If you feel like coming out, we’ll be at Cameli’s (Little Five location); starts at 8pm tonight.

Let’s see… I think I slept through the bus ride home yesterday, but when I did get home, it was onto the trainer for a good half hour workout. Then to celebrate my return to the bike (it seems like it has been a while, but I guess I did ride last Friday) Skyline chili dogs!! OMG, tasty!

Enjoy your class/seminar/revival/day away from the office.

This is a “vacation” day and I am paying for the conference.

Steve, a follow up from yesterday’s question: Are you free and interested in riding the 100k of the Wilson? I am seriously considering doing it. Barb, if it fits into yours and Allan’s schedule you should get back on your road bike. 🙂

  5. Barb says:

    When is the Wilson?
Not sure about the 100K, I haven’t been on the bike since 7/25….. 62 miles – only if you can us find a few beer stops along the way & I can take all day. HAHAHAHA

  6. Steve says:

I’d need to get off my a$$ and get on the bike. I think I’m open on the 12th. And of course, Almost Enough Farm, Day Spa and Dude Ranch has a vacancy.

  7. Steve says:

And they have changed the start a bit- now they are starting from Senoia.

  8. Paulie [eatl/ga] says:

Wilson is 9/12. Beautiful Backroads is 9/19 if another week would help. I’m planning to ride that as well. Can you all see a renewed theme in my life? 😉

  9. Steve says:

The rest stops are Luthersville, Gay and Hollonville. The liquor store is right acoss the street from the stop in L’ville.

  10. Barb says:

    Allan works 9/12.
BBR on the 19th could be fun – their ending at the brewery had some decent food & beer!

  11. Steve says:

I would need a reservation at Chez Garage Mahal…

  12. Barb says:

If we decide to do BBR – ther is plenty of room at Chez Garage Mahal for overnight guests.
We won’t decide until we get back from Portland.
    Too damn much going on.

  13. Steve says:

I think that still leaves plenty of time…
