For the first time in ten years I’ve been granted the Friday following Thanksgiving (aka “Black Friday”) off from work, paid, without having to take a vacation day. I’ve already used this morning to make some coffee, read a few pages from one of the books I am currently reading, and order myself a new monitor from Newegg.

Getting a photo of good friends finishing a marathon…
… is almost as rewarding as running myself.

Today’s picture is great, especially having seen what a terrible job the “professional” race photographers seem to do. Nice shot. I like the little bit of yellow road stripe and shadows giving a sort of herringbone dynamic to the vertical runners.
Great shot!! They both look so happy. You should call it Natural Runners. I would only look that happy at the prospect of collapsing when it was over, thus I am not a natural runner.
Now if you took my picture on a horse… I might pay for it. 😉
Just saw this photo… I looked pained…..as I was!!
Sal, if you looked pained it was only because Marty beat you to the beer. 🙂
