One of the things I love about being an “adult” is not having to conform to conventional eating standards. Yesterday morning I didn’t have much selection in the house, but I did have the makings for a cheeseburger. When you think about it, eating a cheeseburger for breakfast is not that much different than having a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich — hell, it may even be healthier.
A Musical For Those Who Don’t Like Musicals
On Friday I meet up with Stacy to see “The Water Coolers: An Office Musical” at Horizon Theatre.
While I am not a huge fan of musicals I will recommend seeing this one. The songs are by-and-large clever, and with the exception of the song about Palm PDA’s, are somewhat timeless captures of modern-day office life. The cast consists of five individuals who do a good job of delivering their lines (and songs in this case) as well as interacting with the audience on occasion.

After taking many photos of the drought-ridden lake at Sweetwater State Park I came across a small patch of yellow daisies.
I needed something to cheer me up, and this picture does just that.
All Hail The “Opposite Theory”
Remember how I mentioned that I was going to use the George Costanza “Opposite Theory” this week for my college football picks? Well, I did, and beat everyone in the entire game for the week! Not only do I get bragging rights this week, I’ll also score a free lunch from my side bet.
While I fully intend to keep using this method it will get a little more difficult. I now will have to figure out if I am picking the opposite, or am I picking the one that I think that I want to be the opposite. It’s all so damn confusing.
Too Much Hashing Causes Me To Miss Concerts
I had tentatively earmarked a night at The EARL to see last night’s Office / Earlimart show. The reason it was a tentative schedule was because I knew that yesterday was a Black Sheep Hash day, and to complicate matters further the hash was in Alpharetta.
While I returned home with barely enough time to shower and head to The EARL there was no way that I was in a condition to do so. I was tired, beaten up, and coming down from the beer buzz that I had earlier.
Oh well, I’ll just add it to the long list of shows I missed this year.
And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal…

Mmmm…cheeeeeburger! [sic] Now I want one.
This made me giggle. Yesterday I had shrimp for breakfast. Today it was leftover roast beef and green bean casserole. I’m right there with you on the: who says it’s not breakfast food?! train. 🙂
A cheeseburger sounds much better than the toast I had this morning.
How was the Black sheep trail? totally shiggy filled? I hope so, that is one of a many reasons I wimped out & skipped it.
I think that it is awesome that you ate a cheeseburger for breakfast; I totally need to stop analyzing what I eat and when I eat it. I’m an adult too, dammit!!!
The Black Sheep trail was fine. Had we not been in a severe drought it would have been much wetter. We stomped through a bunch of damp, only slightly muddy swamp.
The worst thing about yesterday was that I found out too late that Butt Bob had brought twelve Arrogant Bastard Ales. By the time I realized it they were already accounted for.
well – those Arrogant Bastard Ales are probably high calorie, so maybe you were better off without them??? (just kidding)
Oooh, good point. 😉
LOVE the pic. 🙂
Thanks!
btw- It’s good to see that you are still around, Amity.
