It’s all I could think about last night as I dragged photo after photo into the virtual trash bin. Don’t quit your day job. My budding career as sports photographer is on hold thanks to the wheelchair participants who outpaced my shutter speeds creating blurry photos. My mamby-pamby telephoto combined with the low light of the pre-dawn morning and a bit of instable camera holding just couldn’t hack it.

Fifty Down, Seventy-Five To Go
Showing my true colors I returned to drinking last night for a little “hair of the dog.” Okay, that’s a bit over-dramatic for what really occurred.
Last night being “keep the glass night” and me but one beer shy of fifty for my Taco Mac Passport I had planned on drinking a beer prior to watching the season premiere of Big Brother 8. Plans were made to meet Stacy at the Taco Mac in Decatur where we’d drink the Beer of the Month. Unfortunately for me, that meant beer #50 was going to be a PBR.
Choosing the Decatur location provided an added bonus for the evening as some other hashing friends also joined us for a beverage.
I had all of one beer along with some terrible boneless chicken wings. If you need to be reminded why I had only one beer, read yesterday’s post.
I Regret That I Have But One Hash This Weekend To Run For My Country
On July 1st I ran the Canada Day hash. On July 4th I celebrated the birth of our country with the Peachtree Pub Crawl Team. And on Sunday it’s time for the annual Bastaard Day Hash (we know that Bastille Day is really July 14th, but we don’t let facts get in the way of the hash). If you are looking for me this weekend, that will be your best chance. Other than that I believe I will be in hiding getting my house and yard in order.
Who knows, I just might have a photoblog started by Monday.

Sorry for the delay. I did take the day off work and was most productive until about noon. I got a call from a very handsome, young man inviting me to the zoo and a nice lunch at La Castia.

I haven’t gotten to all of the drunk pics yet. What I have seen is that I had no problem violating personal space with my camera the other day. Now I know what it’s like to be a close-talker.

I did watch Pirate Master, but didn’t have much to say. I can’t see a mutiny happening until the crew is smaller. I couldn’t believe how much Jo Don paid for the pardon.
But the girls said they want to take over, & if they got rid of the captain, the 3 boys ruling would be no more…..
dumb, dumb, dumb move. I guess they can mutiny next time.

Not smarter than you, just really TIRED. Finally had to kick Porky and L&F to the backyard to go to bed.
