I Do This To Myself

Until yesterday the title of today’s post was going to be “I Can’t Even Decide If I Am Indecisive.”

Friday night I waffled on my plans and didn’t go to see what was probably a great show at Masquerade.

Saturday I drove myself to the start of the Atlanta Hash’s 25th anniversary hash, but then decided that I really wasn’t up to being around people and drinking all night long, so I returned home.

Yesterday started out as planned as I struggled to run and then settled in with the group for a few drinks and breakfast. And then I got too comfortable. When a keg of beer arrived and I was having so much fun hanging around with everybody the day took a hard-turn. At about 4pm three of us ventured out and got food at Zocalo in Grant Park (very tasty I might add). Afterwards I headed home. When I awoke and came to the realization that it was 9pm and I had been sleeping since the moment I returned home I knew that a long night was ahead of me. Needless to say, but I accomplished nothing on Sunday night.

The only photography I did this weekend occurred on Saturday night.

Game Over

This is a cribbage board that used to be my father’s.

I’m Sorry, But $30 Is Highway Robbery
While driving around on Saturday my cellphone battery descended toward dead (poor planning on my part since it had been a couple of days since I charged it, and didn’t have the second battery at the ready). I drove around and finally remembered that there was a Cingular (not yet converted to AT&T) store in Decatur, so I headed over. While there I found out that they are charging $29.99 for a car charger for the BlackJack. $30 for a charger? Screw that! I left the store immediately at that point I could care less if I could be contacted by phone before returning home.

And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal…
Current Mood – all of a sudden very sneezy
Current Music – Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 26 playing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club — “Windows”
Website Of The Day – Today Amazon launches a service where you can ask questions and get real-live people to answer. They are calling it Askville.
Exercise (b)Log – running / walking, 4.75 miles
Mode Of Transportation To Work – My car

June Goals

So, you drove to the hash start, did you even get out of your car? I heard it was a very good time. I missed it due to my parents being in town, kind of a bummer. But, it was good to spend time with the parents (they aren’t getting any younger), and I didn’t have to go to Iowa this year!

  2. Paulie [eatl/ga] says:

Yes, that is correct. I drove to the start, but decided not to stay. I wasn’t really planning on running trail, I was going to take a lot of pictures but decided against doing it.

That’s the way my life has been recently.

I will be making a concerted effort to get the bike rack on the car today. If you want to let me know when you want my bike gone from your house, just let me know. 🙂

I just realized by your beer list that I could have had a Blue Moon White Ale and settled two of the colors in one last Thursday at the Mac. Drat!

I do think you oughta mark that list somehow to show whether said beer gets the ITP stamp of approval or not.

  4. Paulie [eatl/ga] says:

So far I don’t think that there is a beer on that list that doesn’t get the ITP stamp of approval. I’ve been quite fortunate with my selections.

Next time we go I should be able to make it to fifty. I currently sit at forty-seven.

  5. Stacy says:

Then fifty it shall be! It’s nice to have goals. 🙂
