Last night I did five point eight miles of slow running, the majority of which was run with my friends Betsy and Melissa. Today I feel as if I’ve been run over by a bus. It’s a good start to my exercise routine however.
Book’em Paulie
Upon returning home from George’s last night I crashed on the couch and surfed the internets. If you are a non-aggregator reader than you can see that I’ve beefed up calendar again by adding some shows. Most notibly I’ve found out that Piebald, Tilly And The Wall, and … And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead are returning to Atlanta. The band who is never to be mentioned on this blog again is also scheduled to return, and since they are not booked at The EARL and I have no plans to see their show, they might actually perform this time.
I took this picture in a Colorado cemetery (duh). The original reason for taking it was to get the perspective of this one headstone set apart from the others like it. When I uploaded the picture I noticed that the person buried under this headstone was named Thomas Collins (aka Tom Collins). Being an alcoholic, I think that this coincidence is very funny.
Big Schmap Attack
Hehe, I just received an email telling me that Schmap may want to use my one of my pictures in their Atlanta Guide. This picture in question is my shot of The Vortex‘s skull in L5P. Sure, why not! I’ll get no money, but that’s okay because I’m not ready to give up my amateur status yet. 🙂
btw- If you kids at Schmap want to Photoshop out the powerlines, feel free to do so because I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet.
Like I Need Another Addiction
Yesterday I came “this close” (picture two fingers a smidgeon apart) to purchasing a Crackberry 8700c from Cingular. The only things that stopped me were the fact that I am currently hemoraging money, I think that it might be too big for me to carry around on a daily basis, and I’m not ready to sell my soul to a wireless provided for two more years just yet. Stay tuned, this could change quickly.
And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal…
Current Mood – achy
Current Music – Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 26 playing Supergrass — “Late In The Day”
Website Of The Day – I got way too much enjoyment seeing the Politically Incorrect Alphabet, especially when I saw the depiction for “T is for Tampon”.
Exercise (b)Log – running, 5.8 miles
Cheers,
Paulie [eatl/ga]
ha. i bet patrick banned them from the earl.
