I hope I don’t die typing this, I just drank some milk forgetting that I was supposed to wait two hours after ingesting my medication (I made it an hour and a half).

Things For Which I Am Thankful: Part 1
I am thankful that I am not lactose intolerant. I can’t imagine having to avoid milk and ice cream as well as all of the other goodies America’s Dairyland provides us.

A Tale Of Two Numbers
I have been a NetBank customer for sometime. Friday I called them to ask a question, but instead of calling their 888 number I accidentally transposed two numbers. Instead of NetBank I was alarmed to get a pornography hotline instead. I kid you not. Send me a private email if you are interested in trying this out for yourself…

Why Must We Keep Changing The Nickel?
I received two nickels in change today. One of the nickels was the new and improved(?) 2005 nickel.

Why do we keep changing our change? Has there been a rash of counterfeit nickels hitting the streets that I have not heard about?

To All Of You I Ignored The Weekend
Sorry, I needed to do some soul searching.

And One Way I Got Better This Weekend
On Saturday I made what could be my last trip to Masquerade. I went to see a band called Piebald (who put on the great show I had predicted), but what I got treated to was even better.

Did I talk to one of the many attractive, but waaaay to young girls? No.
Did I get free beer? No.

I saw the revival of heavy metal in the form of the band Valient Thorr. These guys were so fucking rockin’ that I was inspired to buy their cd at the show. Even better, each member came on stage with a denim jacket with the sleeves cut off and their logo stitched on the back.

Oh, did I mention that they hail from the planet Venus?

I was just the spirit-lifting experience I needed (and I might have been the only one in the room old enough to remember the heyday of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden).
